Cabinet Maker/Installer

Responsibilities include: (but are not limited to)

• Possessing a knowledge of residential and commercial cabinet assembly procedures or ability to learn cabinet assembly.

• Crafting residential/commercial cabinets and their components (doors, face frames, drawers, sanding, etc)
• Safely operating handheld power tools and woodworking machinery including: table saws, routers, CNC, wide belt sanders, edgebanders, nailers, sanders, etc.
• Installing residential and commercial cabinetry

• Install trim, crown, and cabinet hardware
• Fabricating custom wood pieces
• Reading and interpreting shop drawings as well as taking accurate measurements

• Taking initiative and working efficiently in a fast paced environment

Qualifications/Skills:

• *1 year experience in cabinet making and/or installation preferred

• Experience with plastic laminate in fabrication a plus

• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Good math skills. Able to calculate length and square footage. Ability to read tape measure.
• Works well in team environment

• Must have reliable transportation

• Detail oriented with a focus on creating a high quality product

• Ability to take instruction and receive constructive feedback
• Possess an understanding of the different cabinet parts.
