Event Manager

Our company is looking for a confident, professional and experienced event

planner with a passion for working with non-profits to join our team. Our team works to serve 501c3

and 501c6 non-profits through strategic leadership, traditional association management, event

management and support, and administrative services.

This position serves assigned (typically 3-4) non-profit clients annual conference event design and

management needs...most nationally with a touch of global. Here's what we're looking for at our company

Responsibilities
•Facilitate and ensure creation, organization, execution and completion of event projects

within project timelines
•Work with volunteer leadership to build appropriate event design for annual conferences
•Develop event project plans and budgets
•Ensure projects are on track and within allotted budget
•Serve as point of contact both internally and externally
•Develop and manage RFP process on behalf of client
•Negotiate agreements with various event related vendors such as venues, audio-visual,

caterers, exhibit companies, security, ADA accommodation needs, etc.
•Negotiate with third party service providers
•Anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of both internal and external stakeholders
•Assist our marketing team with event related marketing content
•Sales for sponsorship, exhibiting and advertising
•Manage on-site preparations, production, and event breakdown; ensure consistent service

throughout event
•Supervise post-event reporting and summaries
