Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top healthcare professionals across various disciplines within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels (job boards, social media, industry conferences, etc.) to identify and attract qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidates' clinical skills, experience, certifications, and cultural fit. Coordinate and schedule further interviews with department heads and hiring managers.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and build a talent pipeline for future openings. Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their specific staffing needs and challenges.
  • Job Posting: Write and post job descriptions tailored to healthcare roles on various platforms, ensuring they accurately reflect the requirements and attract the right talent.
  • Offer Management: Assist in negotiating job offers, including salary, benefits, and relocation packages, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary licensures, certifications, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Reporting: Track and report on key recruitment metrics specific to the healthcare industry, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and retention rates, to measure the effectiveness of recruiting strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with healthcare regulations, including JCAHO standards, OSHA, and other relevant laws.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare roles and requirements.
  • Familiarity with healthcare recruitment tools, job boards, and sourcing techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, certifications, and licensure requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for specialized healthcare roles (e.g. physical therapy, administrative, exp.)
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations specific to the healthcare industry.
  • Professional HR or recruiting certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or RACR) is a plus.
